Code with Richard F Adams

In this episode, Anna talks to computational artist Richard F Adams about the materials which he uses in his work, computer code. Whilst computational art is a relatively new genre, Richard argues that it sits firmly within a tradition, and that understanding the code and algorithms which underpin the manipulation of colours on a screen is no different from a painter who understands their oil paint. His recent series of selfies take influence from Renaissance self-portraits.
