Nuclear waste with Matt Allinson

This episode Anna talks to science communicator Matt Allinson about nuclear waste. Matt’s passion for nuclear waste is unparalleled, and in the episode he speaks about were it all started (waiting for a train at Highbury & Islington) and where it’s ended up (train-spotting Twitter).

About Matt

Matt is a science communicator from London who got bored of the cold, dark and dreary city he grew up in, so decided to move to Helsinki, Finland for a change of scenery. When he isn't trying to understand one of the world's most linguistically isolated languages or fend off attacks from bears, Matt likes to code silly things with publicly available databases, which lead to him making a twitter bot that tweets the location of nuclear waste on the British rail network.

Find out more on Matt’s Nuclear Trains website or follow the bot on Twitter.
